Firstly, the person needs to understand the nature of real estate investment. This will enable such a person to determine how much outlay he or she wants to invest. There are various investment plans that can bring a high return on investment (ROI) to the investor namely:

1.Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS): this is a pool of investment funds invested on income-producing properties. Investors can subscribe to such a platform to get a high ROI.

2. Developing property through financing: one can also invest in real estate by providing funds to develop a viable property project. Terms and conditions must be ascertained from scratch.

3. Residential property: an investor can buy a piece of land for building and let or sell accordingly to generate rental income/outright sale proceeds.

4. Commercial property: Investors can build commercial properties like offices, warehouses, shops, filling stations, etc.

5. Industrial & Agricultural properties: Investors can also invest in industrial properties like factories and warehouses. Agricultural properties in form of grazing grounds, poultry farms & plantations.
